monday.com app
Business Days
Automations that set dates in business days: weekends, public holidays and your company's days off are skipped.
Actions
Add these actions to monday.com automations, with the triggers monday already has (when an item is created, when a status changes, when a date changes):
- Set a date N business days from today, for example a due date three business days after an item is created or its status changes
- Set a date N business days after another date (or before it, with a negative number), so dependent deadlines follow
- Move a date to the next business day when it falls on a weekend or holiday
Settings
An account admin sets these once in the app's settings, and every automation in the account uses them:
- Country for public holidays (including substitute holidays, such as Japan's)
- Working days, Monday to Friday by default (Sunday to Thursday works too)
- Company days off, such as a year-end shutdown
- The time zone that decides what "today" is
The settings screen follows your monday.com language: English or Japanese.
