Azure DevOps Pull Requests
Review and manage Azure DevOps pull requests without leaving IntelliJ IDEA, Rider or any other JetBrains IDE.
What it does
- Lists the active pull requests of the repository you have open: all, created by you, or assigned to you
- Shows the description, reviewers and votes, and the full discussion
- Opens any changed file as a side-by-side diff, without fetching it locally
- Approve, approve with suggestions, wait for author, or reject
- Comment, complete with your merge type (merge, squash, rebase, semi-linear), or abandon
- Checks out the source branch in one click, and creates a pull request from your current branch
Free and paid
Free: browse pull requests, discussions and diffs. Paid, with a 30-day free trial: vote, comment, complete, abandon and create pull requests. Licenses for individuals and organizations are sold through JetBrains Marketplace; prices are shown there.
Install
In your IDE, open Settings | Plugins | Marketplace and search for Azure DevOps Pull Requests. Then open a repository whose remote is on Azure DevOps and find Azure PRs in the right tool window bar.
Works with
- Azure DevOps Services (
dev.azure.com,*.visualstudio.com) - Azure DevOps Server 2020 or later, on premises, including
/tfs/addresses - HTTPS and SSH remotes; the IDE's proxy settings (including proxy authentication) and trusted certificates
Access token
Public projects can be read without a token. Otherwise create a personal access token in Azure DevOps with Code (Read) to read, or Code (Read & write) to vote, comment, complete and create, and enter it in Settings | Tools | Azure DevOps Pull Requests. The token is kept in the IDE's password safe.
